Coffin Slide is a thrash-metal hardcore-punk crossover band formed in Charleston, South Carolina in 2019. The band’s aggressive ‘punk-on-steroids’ musical style draws from 1980’s west-coast punk and thrash metal infused with a lethal dose of modern heavy hardcore. The current lineup consists of vocalist and guitar player Scott Baldino – who goes by stage name Scotty Slide, tech-wizard Wolfe Sokovitz on lead guitar, the versatile John ‘the Rooster’ Newman on drums and Drew Banks on bass.
